These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Her Hair Company website, products, services, and related features. Throughout these Terms, “Her Hair Company,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to HER HAIR SLAY INC, doing business as Her Hair Company.
By visiting our website, creating an account, submitting an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms and to the policies incorporated into them, including our Return & Exchange Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy.
Please do not use our website or place an order if you do not agree to these Terms.
1. Online Store Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your place of residence, to place an order through this website.
You may not use our products or services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose. You may not violate any applicable law, regulation, copyright, trademark, privacy right, or other legal right while using our website.
You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is complete, current, and accurate.
2. Product Information and Natural Variation
Her Hair Company sells human hair products that may naturally vary from one item to another. Because human hair is not a manufactured synthetic material, exact uniformity cannot always be guaranteed.
Texture Variation
Product photographs and videos are provided as a visual reference. Natural differences may occur in wave pattern, curl pattern, strand diameter, softness, coarseness, density, luster, and overall appearance.
Minor natural variation does not mean that a product is defective. However, products that are materially different from the item ordered or the description provided remain subject to our Return & Exchange Policy.
Color Variation
Natural black human hair may include shades commonly described as Natural Black, Off Black, Dark Brown, or approximately 1B. Individual bundles or pieces may have slight shade differences.
Lighting conditions, camera settings, device displays, and screen calibration may also affect how colors appear online.
Lengths and Measurements
Hair lengths are generally measured when the hair is stretched straight. Curly and wavy textures may appear shorter in their natural state due to shrinkage and curl formation.
Product Images
We make reasonable efforts to display our products accurately. Product color, scale, texture, and appearance may vary slightly depending on the item, production batch, natural hair characteristics, lighting, and display device.
3. Chemical Processing, Installation, and Product Alteration
Coloring, bleaching, lifting, perming, relaxing, tinting, heat styling, cutting, plucking, lace customization, adhesive application, and other chemical or physical alterations can permanently affect a product.
These processes may increase the risk of dryness, shedding, breakage, tangling, matting, color variation, or texture loss. Results depend on the product, technique, products used, processing time, temperature, maintenance, and the condition of the hair.
We recommend that permanent chemical treatments, lace customization, cutting, and professional installation services be performed by a qualified and experienced professional.
Her Hair Company is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, excessive heat, incompatible products, chemical processing, poor maintenance, unauthorized alteration, or services performed by a customer or third party.
Products that have been installed, washed, colored, cut, chemically treated, or otherwise altered may no longer qualify for return or exchange. Please review the product before alteration and consult our Return & Exchange Policy.
4. Product Care
Human hair products require appropriate care and maintenance. Product lifespan and performance depend on factors including frequency of wear, installation method, styling practices, chemical processing, heat exposure, cleansing routine, products used, storage, and daily maintenance.
Any description of expected lifespan is an estimate rather than a guarantee. Individual results will vary.
General care guidance may be available on product pages, our Frequently Asked Questions page, or other educational pages. Care information is provided for general guidance and does not guarantee a specific outcome.
5. Product Availability
Products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, restrict sales, or cancel an item that becomes unavailable.
Adding an item to your cart does not reserve inventory. An order is not fully accepted until payment has been authorized and the order has entered processing.
If an item becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we may contact you to offer an alternative, remove the unavailable item, issue an applicable refund, or cancel the affected portion of the order.
Restock notifications are provided as a convenience and do not reserve or guarantee inventory.
6. Prices
Prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website or at checkout. Taxes, shipping charges, customs duties, and other applicable fees may be added where required.
The price shown and accepted at checkout is the price applicable to that order, subject to correction of obvious pricing or technical errors.
Prices may change without notice. A promotion, markdown, or price reduction introduced after an order is placed cannot be applied retroactively to an existing order.
If an obvious pricing, description, or technical error affects an order, we may contact you for instructions or cancel the affected item and issue an applicable refund.
7. Promotions, Discounts, and Coupon Codes
Promotions and discount codes are subject to their stated terms, eligibility requirements, product exclusions, dates, spending thresholds, and availability.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Only one promotional code may be used per order.
- Discount codes cannot be combined or stacked.
- Discounts cannot be applied after an order has been submitted.
- Discounts have no cash value.
- Excluded, limited-edition, gift card, final-sale, or already discounted products may not qualify.
- Promotions may end or change at the stated expiration time.
We may cancel or withhold a promotion that results from misuse, duplication, unauthorized publication, fraud, technical error, or violation of its stated conditions.
8. Payments
Payment is due at the time an order is placed. Your payment method may be authorized or charged when you submit the order.
Available payment methods are displayed at checkout and may change over time. Payment services may be provided by third-party payment processors and are also subject to their terms and privacy practices.
You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted with your order.
If a payment is declined, reversed, disputed, identified as unauthorized, or otherwise cannot be completed, we may suspend processing or cancel the order.
9. Fraud Prevention and Order Verification
To protect customers and Her Hair Company from fraud, unauthorized transactions, and account misuse, we may review orders before shipment.
Verification may be required when an order presents elevated risk indicators, including mismatched billing and shipping information, unusually high order value, repeated payment attempts, carrier restrictions, or information supplied by a payment or fraud-prevention provider.
When reasonably necessary, we may ask the purchaser to confirm limited order, identity, billing, or payment information. Any personal information collected for verification will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Failure to complete a requested verification may delay or result in cancellation of the order. If we cancel an unfulfilled order after payment was captured, an applicable refund will be issued to the original payment method.
We reserve the right to reject or cancel orders reasonably suspected of fraud, unauthorized resale, abuse, payment misuse, or violation of these Terms.
10. Order Acceptance, Changes, and Cancellations
An order confirmation acknowledges that we received your order; it does not guarantee final acceptance or shipment.
To request an order cancellation or modification, email info@herhaircompany.com within one hour of placing the order.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request, but cancellations and modifications are not guaranteed once processing or fulfillment has begun. Orders that have already shipped cannot be cancelled or modified.
After delivery, any eligible return or exchange request must follow the conditions and request window stated in our Return & Exchange Policy.
We may cancel all or part of an order because of product unavailability, payment issues, suspected fraud, pricing errors, shipping restrictions, legal requirements, or other circumstances that prevent fulfillment.
11. Shipping and Delivery
Processing times, shipping methods, delivery estimates, free-shipping qualifications, signature requirements, international customs information, address corrections, lost-package procedures, and returned-to-sender rules are described in our Shipping Policy.
Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise. Carrier delays, weather, holidays, customs processing, service interruptions, incorrect addresses, and events outside our reasonable control may affect delivery.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address before submitting an order.
12. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
Return and exchange requests must be submitted within 3 business days of the carrier-confirmed delivery date and are subject to the eligibility requirements in our Return & Exchange Policy.
Eligible products must remain unused, unwashed, uninstalled, uncut, uncolored, unbrushed, uncombed, unraveled, and otherwise unaltered, with the original packaging, ties, tags, accessories, and configuration intact.
For a customer-preference return or exchange, including a change of mind or an incorrect product selection, the customer is responsible for return shipping and any applicable replacement reshipping cost. Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable and may be deducted from an eligible refund.
If Her Hair Company verifies that an item was damaged before delivery, defective, incorrect, or affected by a fulfillment error, we will cover the approved return shipping cost and provide an appropriate resolution under the Return & Exchange Policy.
Please inspect all products promptly after delivery and before washing, installing, cutting, coloring, brushing, combing, unraveling, or otherwise altering them.
If these Terms conflict with the Return & Exchange Policy concerning a return, exchange, cancellation, or refund, the Return & Exchange Policy will control that specific issue.
13. Customer Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.
Please notify us promptly if you believe your account, email address, password, or payment information has been used without authorization.
We may suspend or terminate an account associated with fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, excessive disputes, harassment, policy violations, or conduct that threatens our customers, staff, systems, or business.
14. Reviews, Photos, Videos, and Other Submissions
You may choose to submit reviews, photographs, videos, comments, suggestions, testimonials, social media content, questions, or other material (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of User Content you create. By submitting, tagging, sending, or making User Content available to Her Hair Company, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, translate, display, distribute, and promote that User Content in connection with our website, advertising, social media, email, marketing, and business operations.
You represent that:
- You own the User Content or have permission to submit it.
